Soft coolers and soft-sided cooler bags

Soft-sided coolers for picnics, camping, sport and shopping — from folding cooler baskets to large shoulder coolers. Lighter than a hard cooler, they fold flat for shipping and store, which keeps freight and retail shelf costs down.

When a soft cooler is the right choice

Soft coolers win on weight, price, freight volume and convenience; hard coolers win on multi-day ice retention. For day trips, picnics, sport and grocery shopping a soft cooler with a 10–15 mm foam wall, a welded liner and a storm flap is the better retail product.

  • Hold time: publish a tested range, not a claim — we run a timed test on your approved sample.
  • Freight: folding constructions ship flat, often 3–4× more units per carton.
  • Durability: 600D or 1680D outer, bar-tacked handle anchors, 5 kg handle pull test.

Frequently asked

How long does a soft cooler keep ice?

It depends on foam thickness, liner and closure. A 10 mm wall with a welded liner keeps refrigerated food below 8 °C for roughly 6–8 hours at 25 °C; 15–20 mm walls and a storm flap extend that. Results are confirmed by a timed test on the sample.

Are soft coolers leak-proof?

Models with heat-welded PEVA or TPU liners are leak-resistant; stitched liners are not. Every order is checked with a 1-litre water test on sampled units before shipment.

What sizes do soft coolers come in?

From around 6 cans (about 5 litres) for personal use up to 30–40 litres for family picnics. We quote capacity in cans and litres so retail buyers can compare like for like.
